Hey People, thanks for visiting here today. So I ask myself a lot of questions most of the time and one of them this period was After Valentine what next? Don’t get this the wrong way my friends, I celebrate and believe in Val but the whole buzz about it makes me wonder what happens after February 14th.
I had much fun yesterday shooting on Valentine day. it gave me a whole new perspective about Valentine and you can see it reflected in my different poses. I call it self-love. You can’t give what you don’t have. Isn’t that true? As days glide by, I love and truly appreciate the woman I have grown into, not forgetting mistakes made in the past, but learning from them and moulding my life to be a source of inspiration to many someday
A lot must have happened on valentine’s day. For some, the day ended on a high note while for others, it didn’t. But for whichever class you belong to, I ask you- After Valentine what next? Are we going back to showing deceitful love to our partners? friends?colleagues? Name them… We must not relent in loving our spouses, family, friends, colleagues etc. and even those that hurt us. It should be a constant practice. You remember the song by Onyeka Onwenu that says “one love…keep us together (google to hear this piece if you haven’t heard it before… You would love it)
Growing up, I had a mug encrypted “Love is what you get when you give”. I would always want to drink from that mug… I treated it so special. Now that I’m grown that tag is beginning to make sense to me. Love is what you get when you give
Love is Patient, Love is kind, Love is not selfish, Love is forgiving, Love is what you get when you give, Love is you, Love is all of us.
Let’s keep showing love to one another… That is what it should be before and after valentine.
Much love from me
Thanks for stopping by always
